{Heaven's Doggy-Door}
My best friends closed there eyes last night,
As there head was in my hand.
The Doctors said that they were in pain,
And it was hard for them to stand.

The thoughts that scurried through my head,
As I cradled them in my arms.
Were of there younger, puppy years,
And OH...there many charms.

Today, there was no gentle nudge
With an intense "I love you gaze",
Only a heart thats filled with tears
Remembering our joy filled days.

But an Angel just appeared to me,
And he said, "You should cry no more,
God also loves our canine friends,
He's installed a 'doggy-door"!

{GoodBye}
With heavy hearts; and a tear in our eyes
after all these years; we must say goodbye
Please understand; we've done all we could
if there was anything we could do; you know we would

I'm sitting right here; gently rub your ears
while I talk to you softly; trying to hold back the tears
The memories you gave us; we'll never forget
especially the ones; of the day we all met

One last hug; and one last kiss
you have no idea; how much you'll be missed
To look into your eyes; this one last time
you tell me it's ok; you know it's your time

Close your eyes now; and go to sleep
we'll pray to the Lord; you're soul he'll keep
Go in peace now; our good friend
we'll stay right here with you; until the end

Dream of that special day and time
when we'll meet at the Bridge; and all will be fine
We'll run and play; side by side
with a soft warm feeling; deep down inside

Your memory will live on; in each one of us
you'll always be number 1; to all of us
Have a safe journey; through the night
I promise when you awake; you'll be in God's light

So with heavy hearts; and tears in our eyes
just for now my friend; we say goodbye

{"Jack was a awsome Dog, He loved everyone around him, and was the best hunting dog as well, he was also my bestfriend..."My older sister Summer did 4H with him for a few years, where he won well quit a lot of Ribbon's in Obediance, when my dad and I (Mindy) took him hunting with us, we never left him behind, he was able to ketch a duck in mid air with out us having to waist a bullet, I remeber when other hunters dogs wouldn't go and get the ducks and we would send Jack out for them no matter how cold or hot the day was, he always pulled threw". "I love you Jack even though you are no longer here with us and you will be greatfuly missed and loved by yours trulie. Mindy: I keep his ashes in a box above my computer desk with his picture on it}

{Doggy Heaven}
If there's a doggy heaven,
I know that's where you are--
About a billion miles away,
Standing on a star.

It's a doggy paradise;
No fences and no leads.
There won't be any do's or don'ts.
You can do just as you please.

There'll be lots of bones to chew
And lots of holes to dig.
There'll be lots of other dogs--
Little ones and big!

You can romp and play with new-found friends
Forever, don't you see?
So, why are you sitting at the gate
Just waiting there for me?

{"Lottie went home to live with a young girl in Corvallis OR, where she was used for 4H, She was a very sweet girl and loved everyone around her and other dogs, she was very small for a Setter and we knew somthing was not right about her, but we didnt think we would loose her so soon from getting sick, she was the young sister of Quest & Taylor and Daughter of Autumn & Casper, though we only had her for a short time and didnt get to know her when she became a adult, we still will miss her, Our hearts and love go out to the family that was willing to give her a good home where we knew she would be loved and well taken care of".}
